Location: Boat on Lake St.Clair; live in St. Marys, GA.
Which items should I pay special attention to prior to a survey? Has anyone been surprised by survey findings? A problem you didn't even know about? SOmething serious enough to kill the sale?

rot and or soft spots are your biggest worries.
anything remotely related to the main stringers.
next is any engine or electrical major problem.


(my dad has been a Surveyor for 18 years now with multiple major marine insurance companies on the east coast FL to New England)
