So, on my 2007 Vista 358 I have a noisy water pump. The manual suggests the pump is right behind the forward berth panel beneath the drawer. Can't figure out how to remove that panel. Plus, using the phone camera I can't see a pump. Where is that sucker?

You need to remove the entire drawer assembly. That is a few screws at the top and we have a bolt that ties the bed base to the drawer unit. Once that is loose, you will need to disconnect the lighting harness. It only fits one way.

Once that is out, the pump assembly is easy to access.

I just replaced the fresh water pump on our 'new-to-us' 348 this past weekend. Once I found the screws holding the cabinet fact in place, gaining access was pretty simple.

Unfortunately, the jabsco pump that I replaced the original pump with does seem pretty loud. Any ideas on how to reduce the noisiness of these pumps? I find that if I place my hand over the pump it quiets down a lot. I was thinking of rigging some sort of rubber strap over the pump to help absorb the vibrations.
