Hi folks. We just picked up a new to us 2004 FW 378 Vista. Love the boat so far. For the life of me I can't get the cockpit speakers activated.  The boat hasthe original Clarion XMD3. I believe 4 speakers in cabin and four speakers in cockpit; 2 in hardtop and 2 on sides of hardtop. Speakers are original issue also...Clarion. It's driving me crazy! Any ideas? I've been fiddling with head unit for a week now with no joy. THx |

If it is a Clarion X MD3 head unit , try this from the manual: Adjusting the fader 1. Press the [ A-M ] button and select “FAD 0”. 2. Press the [ up arrow ] button emphasizes the sound from the front speaker, press the [ down arrow ] button emphasizes the sound from the rear speaker. ∗ The factory default setting is “FAD 0”. (Adjustment range: F12 to R12) 3. When the adjustment is complete, press the [ A-M ] button several times until the function mode is reached. |
