Last time I used my A/C, it worked fine. Today, it runs for a couple of minutes and then trips the switch.

I verified that the valve is in the proper position. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chuck

Does the water circulate? I would put a clamp on meter and check the current draw at start up and when the breaker trips. Could be as simple as a weak breaker. Does the fan blow air out the vent?

Thanks for you response, yes it blows cold air until is switchs off. How would I check for water flow?

Make sure the valve in the engine compartment floor is open, and there should be a fitting on the side of your boat (like the bilge outlet) that returns the water to the lake.... without water circulating it will not cool....

Give some more info. What boat and what A/C do you have? Newer ones will give a fault code.
