Hi has anybody changed the hot water tank on one of these does the Starboard seat come out looking for help. |

I have removed the starboard seat. 1. Remove the backrest of the forward seat. This pulls up and and out. It rest on hooks through holes in the back of the seat. The seat cushion will tilt up and you will need to brace up. 2. Lift the starboard backrest up and off. Seat cushion will tilt back. 3. Remove the screws from the floor of the starboard seat box. 4. Open engine hatch. The seat box can be removed. It is caulked at joints in hatch trough. If it has a sub woofer found may need to remove strain relief or cut the wire. It will top up but you probably want to completely remove to get heater out. Good Luck. |

Same experience on my 2007 Vista 358. I did not have enough clearance to get the heater over the starboard engine with the seat box removed. I took the case (white insulated metal box covering the tank) off and took it out in pieces. Disassembled the new water heater on the dock and reassembled the case once the tank was installed. |
