I am thinking about purchasing a 1999 four winns 328 vista with twin 5.7 gsi engines (280 hp). I am looking for any information (positive and/or negative) on this year, make and model. |

The 328 is hopefully our next boat too. Just waiting for the prices to come down a bit. 70K to 85K for a 99' is still a bit high for us. You can search through the Vista threads and find some info on the 328 that was previously posted, if you haven't already. Good Luck, it's the best 32 footer layout of any I have been on. |

We own a 2000 328 Vista. This is our third Four Winns. (Previously, a 258 and a 278). We LOVE the boat. We travel up and down the Ohio River from Pittsburgh to Kentucky. The gas consumption is great. The comfort is fantastic. The boat has basically everything we need. If we sold our boat we would have to purchase a 358 to get the same roominess we have now. The ride is great on the boat, but we are on fairly flat water. We do tow the boat with a Dodge Cummins and a Loadmaster trailer. We only tow it home, to the dock and back into storage as you do need permits and such. Although the 1999 is slightly different from the 2000 (wood cabinets as opposed to white, etc.) I dont think there is too much of a difference. I highly recommend this boat. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions about the boat. (jxp777@ameritech.net) Good Luck! http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa225/Mish1000/BoatOct212007045.jpg |

I also have a 2000 328 Vista, which I purchased last August for $65,000, so I would try to keep the price around there, or hopefully less, for a '99 if I were you. I like my boat, but I'm already salivating for a newer 348 Vista. I don't have a '99, but the 2000 is pretty much the same boat. What do you want to know? |

65K is about what I would pay for a 2000 also. You got a good deal. Currently looking at one now, that is priced much higher. We will see how badly they want to sell the boat. |

Where is the boat located? I have looked at several in Michigan that I felt were greatly over priced.... |

West Coast of Michigan. Most boats here are listed way higher than what they are worth. Depending on the dealer, you can negotiate. For reference, our 268 was listed at 47K 5 years ago. We bought it for 30K. So you know these dealers have room to move, and it is even more of a buyer's market now than it was 5 years ago. |
