A bit more than I'm interested in spending. If I pull the ECM out of my boat and ship it, do you think your mechanic would be willing to read it for me (I would pay for his time of course)?

Yes. Just connect the proper scan tool or software loaded on laptop. Did that with our 2000 268V years ago.

Yes it can be done if you buy the software/cables. I did works like a charm.
