Where is the best place to mount a transducer on the transom with twin duo props? I got a smoking deal on a Raymarine Axiom 12 RV with the All-in-one RealVision 3D transducer. |

I have 2 transducers for my Lowrance mounted between the drives and it works great. I just followed instruction guide for locating the best spot. |

Our transducer is about 8' ahead of the transom just above the keel. Just make sure whomever installs it sets the proper angle to have the transducer look down. |

Is it better to mount it on a starboard or something? Or directly onthe transom? I see some are mounting to a board first. |

Starboard is a great idea as it gives you the ability to change transducers without poking more holes in your boat. Having said that, I don’t plan to have my boat for too long so I mounted them direct to the transom. |
