I'm not near the boat and need someone to check. Presumably this is the same on most of the models in the lineup, not just our 2005 248.
Can someone verify for me if the handle that's in front of the galley sink is magnetic or not?
I'm looking to find a way to keep the forward stateroom door from banging against this handle. I'm considering using the cup-shaped half of one of these:
I'd mount the cup portion onto the galley door. Oh, dang it all, the magnet is not in the cup side. That just dawned on me. So much for that bright idea. But still, I may be able to find some sort of magnet, perhaps one of those neodium types, that I could use. I'd still need to know if the handle would allow a magnet to attach. If they're actually full stainless then I'm SOL.
Anyone near a recent vintage FW that can check this for me?
