On my 2002 V268, the factory tv is mounted to the ceiling just fwd of the upper cabinet, the DVD player is on the shelf, also just fwd of the upper cabinet (under the tv)

If i was guessing, you would find it behind the filler above the cabinet

If I recall Correctly, in the 2 tubes (chase) that go from under the half closet to under the steps, there is a bundle of wires. Maybe it is in there, should be 4 Phillips screws holding the top step, pain to find.

Maybe it’s in that bundle. I will Spend a few minutes this weekend and see if I can Find the orange wire in either of the locations I suggested.....

If you pull the small section of head liner down in the aft cabin (4 Phillips screws) that bundle is running Through supports there also. It would be the path to use to run new wire from the helm. Takes about 2 mins to get off, once the caps are off the screws
