Where is the shower sump box on an 01 298 at? Is it in the closet floor next to the head? The carpeted floor has a large screw at the bottom. How do you get the floor up after removing? Is there another one hidden? |

In our 328, the shower sump is in the lower step of the steps leading from the helm to galley. Under the step "lip" of the lower step is a plastic knob that unscrews to allow the top of the lower step to be removed for access to the shower sump. Not sure if the 298 is the same. Found it my cabin carpet lifts up revealing an access hatch right next to stairs. Shower sump box is mounted to floor of bilge. |
