Looks great!!! Seadeck came out awesome too! Did they have to custom build the template or did they have it? I may have to invest in that for my 268...

It is not authentic "SeaDek". I did the CAD work myself and sent it to a guy in China that I found on eBay. His name is Jim: jimwangxinwei@163.com

Tell him Ryan sent you!

Just emailed him! Thank you!!!!

Would you mind sharing what the faux-SeaDek cost to do your boat?

I didn’t end up ordering it. The dude wanted 760 and whether it is a lot or not,
I was ok not doing it right now. But it looks really nice and if it were in my budget I’d have done it right then.

760 doesn't sound too bad. The matworks carpet system, for example, is $513 for a Vista 268 and, imo, is not as sharp looking or as functional.

I'm also on the hunt for replacement interior carpet inserts if anyone knows of a good source.

Question for you... on jim’s template, there is a piece that is 20 5/8 x 8 1/4. Appears to be forward. I cant, for the life of me, figure out where that goes. Where is that piece? I have an 03 so maybe we have a slight difference but I feel dumb that I can’t find it.

Thank you!

JD

I had Mine redone by snap in carpets, it was as much as the cockpit carpet, but looks fantastic!

Installed mine today. Super easy with the adhesive backing. It fit my 2003 perfectly. Well worth the investment. Completely changed the look of the boat.

Thanks for making the cads and inspiring me!!!

Did you have any issue around the table mount in the engine compartment cover? On 2002 and later models, they switched to a different table leg mount because they changed the design of the cushion insert for the bench seats. From the pictures, it's hard to tell if the cutout is the same size or not.

So what is the install process for this stuff? Do you install it like seadek? Basically clean the gelcoat, tape down the panels, and remove backing cover until it self-adheres?

Pics?
