There is an adhesive backing so you just clean the floor, pull back the backing, put it on, and step on it to make it stick. I also used some spray adhesive. Just to be sure. |

Would the spray adhesive not make the self adhesive less effective? Did you put the spray all over the back of the mats? |

No idea. Possibly. But it is holding incredibly well so far. I didn’t douse it... more like just the edges. |
