Hi, i want to change the duckbill valves on my 2000 328 vista . The vacuum generaton and pump is mounted on the port side in the engine room, behind the hot water tank, the hoses are at the back of the unit. Has anyone changed these before, Iam looking for so tips? Iam going to try to loosen the bolts that hold the pump to the vacuum generator and try to pull it toward the front a little with the hoses attached. There is not enough room between the port engine and the hot water tank to crawl into the rear. Iam looking for some hints in doing this , Thanks in advance for any help, Joe.

well i did it, if anyone else has to change their duckbill valves, remove the top cover of the vacuum generator, loosen all 4 bolts the hold the pump down, loosen the collar on the pipe nipple going to the vac. generator, pull the pump towars you, then loosen you hose and fittings ,remove duckbill valves and re-install the same way you removed them. good luck, Joe.
