It's nice to know, and a releif knowing that my first time winterizing a boat (and of course one as complicated as a cruiser) was a complete success! I am now in the process of un-winterizing the 248 and so far, everything works as it should, no leaks, no cracks nothing is broken

I have to say that I was a bit worried, not so much about the engine or even the water system. I forgot to pump pink through the over board discharge (mascerator) but I did pump the tank dry before I added pink to the tank so I'm thinking the mascerator and it's associated lines were all dry (and might be a bit self draining due to thier routing).
So all is well! She fired right up, I bumped her over a few times to pump some oil through the motor and then she started, no smoke, no missing nothing.. Just smooth as glass!
I also just passed on a Kohler 5e Genset on ebay that went for $3550 it supposedly had 60 hours on the clock. I wasn't feeling the listing so I decided to pass on that one, but the price sure was low!
And on another positive note, the launch ramp I used to use like three years ago (Army Corps Park/Launch) finally decided to spend some of that $250K in gubment grant money and they drove all new piles and are putting in all new dockage with what looks like transient slips! YEAAAAA! I know where I will be launching this summer!
