Could someone post or send me a pic of the wiring on the back of the cabin lights switch? It is the switches above the panel with the water pump, cockpit lights and cabin lights. I was trying to troubleshoot a problem with the switch and I do not know how the wires attach.

You can send a pic to jmikula019@yahoo.com

Thanks for any help.

Do you have the wiring diagram in the owners manual?

I have the wiring diagram and the owners manual, but it does not give ANY clues to where the wires go on the switch.

There is a blue/red run that I am assuming is the hot side, a solid black that I assume is the ground for the indicator lights, but there is a blue/black run that is not on the wiring diagram and a single blue/red. I am not sure where each of these go. I have the switch diagram so I am pretty confident of the terminals now.

So here are my real questions... Is the other red/blue a carry to the head lights? What is the blue/black line for? Do the cabin lights themselves carry 2 different circuits? And finally, can my issue be teh switch itself? Has anyone had one of these go bad?

Have you tried FW Customer Service yet? This seems to be a question that they could get an answer for you.

J,

There are 2 circuits, one for the regular cabin lights and the other for the low level lighting on that switch.

W,

Thanks... I spent all morning chasing down the wiring diagram and the switch circuit... I wired it up the way we discussed on the phone and it didn't work. Now that I have the switch diagram, I am going to bench test the switch.

Thanks.
