That is correct. Per the owner's manual for the Guest Galvanic Isolator (available on the
Guest website), the red LED will blink on and off anytime the AC power is disconnected and when you are underway because the connection between AC neutral and AC safety ground is open. This typically will happen once per minute as the GI is testing its functionality.
