I have a question regarding an indicator light located below the main 120V AC breaker panel. There are two lights on the 120V AC panel for reverse polarity but under the breaker panel there are two additional lights, one green labeled “POWER” the other red labeled “FAULT”. When we are attached to shore power the green light for the reverse polarity is on and the “POWER” light that is under the AC breakers is also on. Once we separate from shore power, turn off the main breaker and start the motor the red “FAULT” light blinks. I can not find these two lights in any of the schematics that were in the owner’s manual. I find it hard to believe that a “flashing red light” is normal, though the dealer said it was. Has anybody experienced these before and if so what is the cause.

Once again the two lights I am asking about are not the “REVERSE POLARITY” lights but a red and green light under the 120V AC panel labeled “POWER” and FAULT”.

I suspect the green and red lights are the indicators for the galvanic isolator. The likely cause of the blinking when you disconnect from shore power is that the isolator no longer has a reliable ground reference. I wouldn't consider it a problem when underway.

That is correct. Per the owner's manual for the Guest Galvanic Isolator (available on the Guest website), the red LED will blink on and off anytime the AC power is disconnected and when you are underway because the connection between AC neutral and AC safety ground is open. This typically will happen once per minute as the GI is testing its functionality.

Thanks, I have read over the owners manual and could find no mention of it. I looked at the schematic and could find no mention of this light. We are heading off on a long weekend tomorrow and I was concerned that this may be a bigger problem.
