Hello! I am considering installing a Mermaid Marine M9 A/C unit in my 268 Vista. I would like to use a Honda EU2000i, mounted in the engine compartment for power but I'm not sure how to rig the exhaust. Has anyone attempted this? If so, any tricks, tips or advice? |

You can not safely run or store the Honda in your engine space. Do it and you will be blowing up! The Honda is vented and does not have a wet exhaust system. The best place to run it os on the swimplatform. It will run the A/C fine. I've also run it on the foredeck. I stored it in the cockpit while underway to our destination. When docked, it was set on the dock a good distance from the boat or other boats do CO was not a threat to anyone. |
