Spoke to Mike Stefani at FW about the GI issue some of us new 358 owners are having. His answer to me was that some of the hulls produced recently were incorrectly wired. The GI is likely not working at all because it is not hooked up correctly. I suggest you contact your dealerships immediately especially if you are in salt water!

Anyone having the house breaker trip while on the genset? My cabin lights and the DC voltmeter were spiking and then the breaker popped allowing batteries to drain. Happening regularly now. Something is wrong with the genset regulating current I guess.

DVD player is only set up to send a signal to one tv. If you have cockpit and cabin, no DVD signal on one. Should be wired to allow a splitter or other config. But FW only wires this for one tv.

Are your TV's digital or analog ? Sea Ray has been installing Analog TV's on some of their new boats (old stock) that has several owners unhappy. SR is replacing the TV's on newly purchased boats with digital TV's at their cost.

Hopefully FW did not have the same mistake.

No the tv's are digital and receive wonderful HD signals. The only issue I have is the fact that the DVD player is only hooked up to the one tv in the cockpit. I assume this will be easily remedied with some cables and or a splitter/AB switch.

Does anyone know here the GI are? On my Searay they were outback in the trunk with power inlet. On the 358, are they there or behind the panel in the cabin.

On my '06 318 I called FW about my GI because I thought my GI's where not working, they had two of their guys come and take a look and found that the lights on the panel for the GI's only come on when you turn on the panel light switch/breaker and even then the green lights are very dim. Is this the same problem with the 358's ? If so I will call FW back so they can correct it.

Leopold - The GI is only operational when connected to shore power. You may see lights when the genny is running but it is designed to isolate stray current only when you are plugged in.
