I've found using a sail bag as a very convenient way to stow the bimini side curtains. I picked up king size flannel sheet set and cut pieces for each panel. Now they're individually rolled with the flannel cushioning the plastic to help prevent scratches. I got a secondhand sail storage bag (from Bacons in Annapolis) for $20. The bag's a little long but it's zippered such that it opens up fully making for plenty of room to lay the rolled panels in it. Then it all fits neatly all together under the port side lounger seat. I also have a pair of swim noodles, one shore power cord bag and several PFDs crammed in ther along with it.

So if/when you want to find a neater way to store your side curtains get a cheap set of king size flannel sheets out of the clearance bin and a sail bag. Works great!

I've done pretty much the same but with Army/Navy surplus canvas bags.

They are pretty heavy duty so they keep the curtains protected, they zip wide enough to just lay the curtians in, they are chaep, and in abundance.

The only trouble with the surplus bags is they're either too short or have and end opening, not from th side.

THe ones I picked up are at least 4 feet long, and zip on top. My only beef with them is that they are black and not green (my boat color.)

I think I paid around $20-30 for each bag.
