Does anyone know if there are any replacement hinges available for these aftermarket? (not available through Four Winns) These are the black hinges that have a ball in the middle and a pinch bolt that squeezes the two halves together on the ball to maintain pressure, allowing the window to hold itself open. The plastic is getting brittle and they are all breaking, other than that the portholes are in good shape and not leaking so I would rather not pay $200 ea and go through all the hassle of replacing the entire porthole for the sake of a $10 part.... The portlights are made by Lewmar. You might try their website or contact them. You might also look at ebay or similar sites. |

I had the same ones in my 268, they were made by Taylor Made. I contacted them to see about parts and they said discontinued. I was able to buy 2 complete replacement portlights from FW and I salvaged parts off them to fix all my broken ones. That was a couple years ago now and I believe $300 each. |
