Hello.

I have a 2000 248 Vista. My factory OEM mooring cover rotted. Does anyone know who made them so I can inquire to see if they have a pattern and then get a quote?

I checked with several dealers and they have no clue, but they know it was an option.

Seems like a simple enough question, but none know!

I tried Great Lakes Boat Tops and they said they didn't make the mooring cover for that era...

Thanks in advance.

I doubt that you will find a O.E.M. Google your local canvas shops and have some one check it out and give you a price. The last one I had replaced, a local canvas co. came down, measured , gave a quote and I had them take care of it. they came in about a week later with the new canvas and installed the snaps on site, which gave a nice custom fit. I believe it was around $1,200.00 back in 2012. A couple years later they did the rest of the canvas on the boat. Its good to deal locally, if you ever need work in the future they usually remember their customers. Good luck.

Thanks for letting me know. What supports it? My OEM has 4 poles with snaps. 2 on deck (hood), one at steps at drivers seat area (floor to cover), and one behind the rear facing seat (basically between the 2 rear seats. I also have the spotlight so the OEM cover has a boot/socket for that...

Just wondering on the aftermarket pre made covers how these items work. Thanks again. Scott 717-654-7309 if its easier to call.
