| Post subject: | V378 Unequal Fuel Tank Consumption |
We have a 2007 378 Vista with twin Volvo Penta IPS Diesel engines. It appears that we are using more fuel from the starboard tank even though we have not turned on the generator (it draws from the starboard tank). Has anyone had this problem? How should I trouble shoot this? Also, should all three fuel valves be open (port, starboard and share) or should the center valve (share) be closed. Both engines run great at the same RPMs and at the same temp. |

What you may be experiencing is it may be slightly easier for the engines to pull from the starboard tank, so that's the fuel it uses. |
