Had the Koehler 5k show loc on startup. Pulled the impeller and it was fine. Checking further remove the hose coming out of the housing and after several attempts pulled numerous pieces of past impellers out until I could find no more. Still start up and runs smooth for about 3 minutes then shuts down showing loc. Thinking of pulling that hose again and putting a shop vac on it to see if I could pull more old pieces out. Not sure if that is a wise idea but am at a loss as to what to try next.

Gotta love the dreaded generator issues. I'd give these ideas a shot...

Thanks Joe. I had found the Club Searay forum earlier but you gave me a few new links I had not seen. I am concerned in that I disconnected the water sensor and it ran a little longer but gave me a different code. It throws the LOC code as it dies so I don't really believe that is the issue. It runs like a champ for 60 seconds then I can hear it load up like it's getting too much fuel. I had planned to change plugs and the filter this weekend but I may be shooting in the dark if it is a fuel issue. Didn't you say that the back plug was a bear to get out one time when you changed in on your 268?

If you haven't changed plugs in a while, that may be it.

Honestly I can't recall on the 268....couldn't be as bad as the 358 rear plug. I ended up paying the marina to change it... he had to lie flat and crawl back to reach it enough to do it by feel.
