Help me make a choice for a fuel pump replacement. I have an aftermarket fuel pump in my 2006 5.7 VP engine. The low pressure pump is shot and I have many choices of how to fix it. !) Replace the whole thing with OEM for $1300. 2) Replace the whole thing with another aftermarket pump for much less. 3) Replace the LP pump with OEM (does it fit?) and 4) Replace the LP pump with another aftermarket pump. I am leaning to replace with an OEM if it fits so any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

go onto youtube and get with man cave mechanic, he has numerous vids on these pumps especially for Volvos and can advise you...

Thanks, that is what I did and ordered a rebuilt pump from him. Just got here today. Spent 129 on a LP pump to repair the one in the boat and keep as a spare. $700 for two aftermarket pumps!
