After cleaning the bilge in the aft cabin where A/C and generator through hulls are; I find oil in that bilge. There is an oil leak in the starboard engine.
My question is: Is there a connection between the two bilge areas that allow water & oil to flow back into the aft cabin bilge. and should such a flow be sealed or left open?

I believe that the aft cabin bilge area is open to the engine compartment bilge. The aft and forward bilge areas should be separated by the bulkhead at the front edge of the aft cabin. That is how my 268 is, and that is how it appears to me in the owners manuals for the 348.
