Take a #2 philips screwdriver and make sure the screws on your portlight frames are all tight. I had one that the catch was a bit loose on one side so I went to tighten it's screw a bit. While I was there I checked the others around the frame and noticed several had gotten loose. I noticed this also on a couple of other frames too. It only takes a minute, check yours to be certain they're properly snug. |

Thanks for the tip. What I do is at the beginning of the season I go around with screw drivers and check all screws that I can access all over the boat and tighten up any that have come loose during the past season. I find hinge screws (for cabinets, entrance doors etc..) tend to come a bit loose from the wave pounding throughout the season and could do with a bit if a tighten. |

A good tip Bill, on your advice I went around all of them today and half of them were quite loose. In fact the ones in the loo(head)were really loose, must be all the thunder ![]() cheers Robbi |

good advice, WK. Just like Stingray, the head portlight had several screws loose. Must be the central vibration point in the boat. |
