Does anybody know off hand what the dia of the bow rail is on a 248 Vista? Thanks

The bow rails on my 238 Vista are 1" dia. They are the same on a 258 as you can see at http://www.fourwinnsuk.com/vista_258.php
under hull/deck info. They don't list a 248 on this site as I can see, but my money is on it being the same.Hope this helps.

Thanks, they are 1 inch; the info is buried in the hull/deck info. With all the snow we received last night I spent the morning sorting out items that will go on the new boat, items that won't be needed and items that won't work. My rails on the Stingray were 7/8" and I have several items that clamp on the rail. If they won't work on the new boat I was going to let them go with the Stingray.

Are they the same on a 225 Sundowner? Whats an easy way to measure my rail diameter?

Measure the circumference with a soft tape measure and divide by 3.142
