Sounds like a heck a deal! WOW.

Especially if the the boat is in great shape!

Hi There--On surface--look like a great price. Original hours or repowered? If claimed to be original hours, I would try and look for
some confirming evidence. Hourmeters are notoriously easy to cheat on.
Was it in water every year or dry for a number of years. Go over this baby with fine tooth comb as well as the obvious of legal title and no
liens.
Good luck
Mike

I would be very concerned about a boat so old with so low hours. I'm not saying that the hours aren't correct or the boat wasn't repowered but non-use is harder on an engine that using it on a routine basis. Low hours isn't always a good thing.

You could find that the engine starts and runs well but will not last long or have problems soon.

The price sounds great. As always, a survey should be completed and well as a good checking by a mechanic. The initial savings could quickly disappear with a repower.

Thanks all,
Yes I bought it already. Had it surveyed and the surveyor went right through it with a fine tooth comb. He used mirrors and flashlights for crevices and did the engine compression test etc... Boat is not repowered and has been professionally stored and dry for the last 3 seasons (owner couldn't afford to run it) thus the good price. Surveyor was meticulous, especially during sea trial, half way out, once up to temperature he took a digital infrared thermometer to all the parts of the engine and manifold to make sure nothing was over heating. The guy was good and well recomended.

Just needs to be cleaned up, very dusty. Surveyed out at $20k and change. I added an aluminum I beam bunk trailer and now I can't wait for the summer to get here.

Thanks again for all the responses, hope to get some pics up this spring.
