Does anyone have a unique or easy way that they store their fenders? I have to oversized fenders and I have always kept them under the rear seat. But after Capt. Walt's suggestion of keeping a magma grill down there, I now need a place for my fenders. I tried one of those metal fender holders that go on the bow, but I could never quite get it to work right. I might just be an idiot, but as always your expert opinions are much appreciated. |

I have the larger fenders as well. Like Brett, I mounted them off the bow rail. Opted for 3 on just the port side. didnt want to obstruct my view on the starboard side. ![]() |

Our set up is like Brett's, but we only have 3 fenders. 2 on port side, one on starboard. I have been moving them around a bit last year to find best spot for visibility. |

Does the bottom of the rack rest on the fore deck? And where did you get those? |

I keep approx 1" clearance with deck and fender, so the bracket is a bit higher. You can get them at west marine. That's where the ones on our boat are from. I am sure that there are many places that carry them though. If I remember right, they are not expensive. |

I have 2 up on the bow just like the others however I have the same problem where the aluminum holster rests on the deck. |

Mine do not touch the deck, they are fully (and quickly) adjustable, I take them off each season end when I put the cover on) they come off cleanly. The baskets are stainless steel. The only problem is, I have no clue who manufactured them. They were put on by the dealer and I can't find a MFG name on them anywhere. |

I keep my primary fenders attached to my home slip and use these Stowaway fenders for traveling http://www.stowawayboatfenders.com/. Just insure that you purchase the correct size for your boat; they work great for transient dockage or rafting and store under the helm seat. |

Well I found the solution to my problem. I trying to use the fender holders that West Marine sells that fold down and the way the brackets worked, I just couldn't get them configured to on our deck. I have since figured out the solution. See the link below. These seem to configure much better with regards to angle and height. http://www.starmarinedepot.com/Polyform+True+Fit+Fender+Holders+TFR-230.html Suckers aren't cheap though and these are the cheapest I found. But with boating, is anything cheap? |
