new to the forum and want to know the good and bad features of the 1994 238 vista so any help would be appreciated.
i also need a trailer for the boat

Congrats on your new boat. I looked at a mint condition 238 before I bought my 248. The 238 was a great looking boat and I'd say the good is, It's a Four Winns. There shouldn't be any "bad" if you did your homework and should provide years of service.

Welcome, I had a '95 FW, Good news, its a FW, Bad news, that era used VDO automotive style gauge cluster, if and when one gauge goes, you have to replace the whole thing, expensive vs, individual gauges.

You can and should upgrade some time to individual gauges.
