I need to remove the dash panel on my 02 268 Vista to install a new VHF to replace the failed Ray Jeff that came with the boat. I would thing I need to remove the wheel but I have never done it before. Your help is appreciated.

It's very easy and you likely don't need to totally remove it - just pull it back enough so you can mount the new vhf and run or tie into existing wire. Just unbolt the steering wheel and then unscrew the dash. Feed the rubber boot on the steering column through the panel and just work the panel on the column so that you can get it around the tilt tab. Then you should have plenty of room to work.
