Just purchased this boat. Wanted to know what the cruising speed on your 298?

I have the Volvo 270's. It seams to want to run around 3200rpm.

What is your cruise speed and how much does it burn?

I have merc 260's I cruise at 3500 about 30 mph. burning around 20 an hour.

288 Vista with twin 270s (5.0GXi Duoprop) 3200 = 30 - 32 mph @ 18 gph
