Hello everyone. I have a 2006 348 with 6.2 v-drives. Cracks have formed on the inside of both exhaust outlets. I'm not sure if this is gelcoat of some other material because it seems like it is a thick sleeve. Is it something that needs to be addressed or should I just leave it alone? |

There was a 2006 348 in storage close to our boat last year with the same issue. The owner had the dealer fix the gel coat under warranty, as this should not have happened. I believe the cause was something to do with original install at the factory, and a step was missed, but I can't remember for sure. Did you ever get your's fixed ? |

I did get them fixed.I told my repair guy not too worry about cosmetics since the cracks were inside the outlets.He didn't charge too much for the repair. |
