Hello all,

I purchased a fourwinns vista that we just love. Sure it took a little bit of elbow grease and still needs some work but its somehting im proud to own. One thing that really bigs me. THe previous owner removed the L seats and the rear seat on top of the engine. I have looked everywhere to find replacement seats and come up empty handed. ANyone have any ideas???

Thanks for any help.

Part of the reason you are haveing so much difficulty finding replacement seats, is that Four Winns did not make a 248 Vista in 1988. They did however make a 245 Vista in 1988.

Four Winns told me that they still have the canvas available for the 245 as far back as 1988 so it's possible that they still make the seat covers as well. If they do, it would be pretty easy to build the frame, carpet that, and tack on the covers. I would email Four Winns and see what they have to say.

I think in 1988 they started offering an L seat with a swivel base so the seat could be turned to face the rear. It seems like a nice feature but you loose some on deck storage which is alreeady limited on the 245. That also may be something to consider.
