Hey it's great to be here. The Army was great... most of the time... But, too much moving to really enjoy boating. Now that we've settled we hope to really enjoy the Chesapeake bay.
:D

Welcome aboard. Great choice in boat. We have a '99 model 298. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. On another note, my eldest son is graduating high school next week and will start at Auburn University here in Alabama on an Army 4 year ROTC scholarship. He is thinking of a career in the Army, or perhaps the Secret Service or FBI.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I have been 'perusing' the various columns and wow.... there is a wealth of great info on this web site! What a treasure!

Sooner Boater, I bet you are a proud PaPa! ROTC scholarships are quite an achievement... and a financial boon to Dad's wallet! I am a product of the Army ROTC scholarship program, and my youngest daughter is currently an Army ROTC scholarship student (Nursing) as well. If there's anything I can help you with just shoot.

Welcome to the forum. There is a private message system on the forum, might be better than posting your e-mail address.

Make sure you attend the Nautical Flea Market next weekend, you can never have too much "boat stuff". This is a great event with all kinds of stuff to see and buy.

Are you trailering or keeping it in a slip? We keep our 348 over at AMCYC in Eastport.
