Hello all, just joined the four winns team last week. I had been following this board for quite a while before i made my decision, so thanks for all the help! The thing I was wondering was, is what you guys thought of the deal I got. I got a Brand New 2007 (leftover) 278 vista (Classic Color Band Black), it has Air/heat, Maxwell windlass, Fiberglass Radar Arch, remote spotlight, transom stereo remote . We got it on a brand new four winnns trailer for 57,500, and just about 61k out the door with taxes. I know the discount is large, but given this market and the 2007 model year of this boat...is this still a good deal? I appreciate any insight.

I love the boat, she's gorgeous :D

It's got a 5.7 GXI DuoProp. It's got a few other small opts, pillow packages and such...but the biggest ones were the ones listed above, unfortunately it doesn't have nav or a tv in it...those are two things that'll get installed..

Here are a few pics I took while i was there...sadly she's not here yet:(

Congrats! She is a beauty. If you don't mind me asking, who did you get a smokin' deal like that from? I would like to know which dealer to head to first when I finally decide to bite the bullet and get a boat.

Unfortunately, this was the last cruiser they had. But i had a pretty damn good close price match at IRWIN marine in New Jersey...They have three there. All with ocean drive 320hp, nav, A/c, windlass and such...the big opts...theyre advertised for 96 and such on his page but he'll lop them off between 61-63k they have better engines than mine and nav packages, but i didn't care much for the engine, plus flying to New jersey just seemed unreasonable! If you need any help you can PM me.

Wow...great looking boat!! That's the boat I've had my eye on for a while...the price you paid is insane too!!!

I've had a few pointed out to me recently that seemed like steals....but every time I stop to think...I talk myself out of raiding my kids' college funds...oh well...some day.

Nice boat and a very nice price. Place looks like they have been a Four Winns dealer for quote a while. That flag on the wall is the original Four Winns logo after they took off the SafeTMate name.

Very nice boat and it does sound like you got a steal. I have the same boat that I ordered and was new in 08. Mine has the 8.1 engine. Does that price include a genset? You'll have lot's of questions down the road. Mine is working out great but in the beginning I had a number of petty items that took me most of last year to get resolved. Still working on a few very minor items that popped up this year but I think those things happen in all boats. How soon until you splash or have you already?

The price is fair. Nice looking boat. Glad you found one of the deals that are out there.

I believe the msrp was just above 110k with freight on the boat.

No, that doesn't include a genset on the boat. She'll be in the water this coming Friday:) what kind of things should I expect on the boat? Anything serious? Thanks for the insight!

Did I miss a memo or something?

It didn't even sound like he had taken delivery of the boat yet?

WOW.

Now that the boat is back on the market... ha ha. Question is - will he get his money's worth.

And I'd love to hear the scoop on the 318 he found.
