While working on an A/C issue I happened to notice that my aft cabin headliner has begun to droop, or sag, significantly. Ours is a 99 298 Vista so after 10 years I guess its time. The headliner in the main cabin wants to sag, but the lights keep it from really being noticeable. There is a significant amount of foam between the vinyl headliner and the backing so I'm skeptical about the success of using glue.

I'm thinking of using screws and plastic brown washers, or perhaps wood strips to support the headliner.

What has worked for you?

There seems to be no one in this area what works on boat headliners.

Thanks!
