All I have so far, is that our shop is making some instrument panel parts for the Four Winns "42 footer" Hopefully I can get some more details as time progresses.
I know the addition to the plant in Cadillac is pretty much complete. They could barely fit the 378 in there present facility. They are planning on some larger criusers in the very near future. 2008 models.

I guess pictures speak louder than words. Must not be much interest here in 40+ foot cruisers. I know I can't afford one, but I bet it will be a sweet boat.

Eh, I'm not sure we'd want a 42' express cruiser. I'd be more inclined to go with a convertible (flybridge), aft cabin or sedan bridge. But even then a 42 footer is something of a pig for how we'd use it up here on the Chesapeake. I'd consider a 36 to 39' flybridge long before a 42' anything. We just don't need that much room or accomodations, not to mention the fuel bill.

I don't want one either, just thought someone would like to know that Four Winns will be making some bigger boats in the near future. The 40 to 55 foot boat segment has been selling better this past year than the last two years, so that would indicate there is a market and a demand for a boat of this size.
The type and configuration of the boat has not been revealed, but I somehow do not see FW building a convertible. Obviously, you are not the target they are shooting for, they hooked you on the 378, which suits your needs at the present time I'm sure.

I would be VERY interested in a 42 fter. Have been very happy with the 328 so far but I've never been on a boat that had too much space! Bring it on!
