The 268 we are looking at needs a new coat of bottom paint. Its got white paint on it now, and its a white/sand two-tone boat. I'm thinking painting it black, but I have not had any time yet to sit down and research bottom paint. I will most likely pay to get it applied, but what brand works best? Boat will be trailered this year and next, most likely, and then hopefully slipped. |

Did a lot of research before painting my boat, ended up with Petit Vivid. After talking to both factory reps and about a dozen dealers this seemed to be the best for a boat that will be in fresh water and trailered or stored on a trailer in the winter. |

Your best bet is to talk to people who are moored in the same area and fine out what works there... |

If your keeping it trailered then I assume you are doing this for aesthetic purposes. If my assumption is true I would go with something inexpensive as I'm sure you are gonna be spending on lots of other things on your new toy. |
