Well I have been having issues with my shower sump float for a couple weeks. I thought I had fixed it but this weekend it just flat out quit. Does anyone know the make and model to replace this? I know I could call the dealer but it would cost me double and I have seen that West Marine sells replacement switches.

Thanks for your guys help!

Woggy,

I suggest you look at yours because it seems like they switch them around from time to time. A lot of the guys here were talking about having a Rule but I just recently had to do mine and my 248 had an attwood 500.

Mine is an Atwood as well. When you get a chance, could you look at tours and let me know what model # it is? I would greatly appreciate it.

Its an Attwood Sahara S500. Note this pump has a built in switch.

My pump died over the weekend too and I had to replace it. I went up to the store at our marina and they had one for $70 but I've seen them for less online since then. The pump model posted here is correct and they had an exact replacement for mine. There are three wires coming out of the pump but one wire is just wrapped off and not attached. That is the switch wire that is not used in this installation. I did create another problem when I was replacing mine. To get the top of the sump off you spread plastic ears on four corners. One of the corners snapped off on mine. No problem I thought as it had and Attwood part number right on the lid. I haven't been able to find that anywhere. I'm thinking I may have to buy the whole unit whit I found for $89 online. I guess I can keep the new pump I bought as a spare if I have to but I sure would like to find that top somewhere.
