Hey guys, I was wondering.. if anyone could give me some tips on installing a tv in my 278. OEM four winns has it installed, in the cabin, on the wall shared with the bathroom; next to the CO2sensor. It's a pretty simple mount. But I had some questions on the wiring. 1) Do I just run a wire through the bathroom to an outlet? 2) Is there anywhere I could splice it with an inverter to make it run on 12V (110-120 V tv) 3) Is there any pre-existing wiring for a tv in that wall? Any tips or insight would be appreciated; thanks guys ![]() |

Some have installed TVs where you are talking about along with replacing the mirror at the front of the cabin, or wall above aft. But all that have done this I believe have used 12v versions. They are getting cheaper now that HD is the STD. I don't have a link to one, but do a search, you can find good sized TV/DVD 12v combos for under $300. I am thinking if I install one, I will place at the front (replace mirror) and wire sound into stereo. Still using lap top to watch movies (17" screen, sound to stereo), as we have not decided on permanent location. |

I used a double arm swivel mount and mounted a 19 inch flat screen to the cabinet side left of the sink, bolted through the panel, good and solid, seeing as there is an outlet right there, swings anywhere you want it, and it has a quick disconnect that i can bring the tv topside at night to watch the tube from the deck..all and all. kids lovel it at night |
