Has anyone else experienced this problem?
The rear 12 inches or so of the fuel tanks on either side are closed in within the engine bay with 3/8" thick plascore panels fastened in an "L" shape and attached to the hull structure with screws. It appears on mine that both fuel tanks are shifting rearwards causing the screws to tear out and the panels to pull apart.
At this point the starboard tank has slid back about 1" and the port about 1/2".
Are the tanks not also strapped or bolted in?
Is it just these flimsy panels holding back 520 liters of gas from sliding into the engine bay?
Am I missing something here?
