I've got the 7" drop down TV mounted just forward of my galley in the 268. The DVD player is behind it. There was a good discussion on the Sea Ray board about installing and mounting a Artec T3AP converter box. I got a one of those with my converter coupons, and quick hooked it up over the weekend. We picked up 15 digital channels! And that was at Lake Monroe down in southern Indiana. I'd like to get it mounted permanently though. Whats the best way to run the wiring from the drop down TV to where the DVD player is mounted so the coax cable isn't showing? Hows the DVD player wired up to power? The Artec converter runs off 12VDC and comes with a transformer to hook it up to AC, so I'm just going to cut that off and wire it up to the boat. Has anyone with a 268 tackled this project yet? |
