Does anyone know where to find the sling locations on a 1998 258?? The marina says they have to be marked on the hull in order for the travel lift to haul the boat. Nothing in the owners manual. Thanks.

I would imagine they are close if not the same to a 248, for reference here is a photo of mine and you can see the "Sling" stickers on the side.

I posed this question directly to Four Winns this summer via email, prior to a cruise we took (we have a '99 258 which is essentially the same boat). Here is their response:

"The sling points are even with the transom for the back one and for the front, even with the front of the windshield just in front of the aft portlight window."

Hope this helps.

Sounds like the front points are the same but the rear point on the 258 sounds a good foot further back than on the 248.
