Just added 2 6volt golf cart batteries to replace one of my 12 volt batteries. Costco has them for 75.99+ core. This is a 220ah batter with 425min of reserve. If you have a 268 they fit great, I had to remove both battery trays, put the 6 volts in the back side by side and move the inside 12v out toward the edge 2 inches, stock cables fit too.

I've been thinking about that. I want to install a 3000 watt (at least) inverter and a few more amp/hours would be advantageous. Hmmm ..........
