Haven't seen the blue bottom paint before! Bet it looks good in the water! Nice lookin' boat though. Priced a bit high for a used, 2007... but looks worth some investigations! |

We're off to see it later today. Yes, I agree the price is a little high, a consignment boat. New bottom paint, we'll see what color it is. And since we have bought 2 boats from them, hope we can get a decent trade in value. |

I am not digging that baby blue bottom paint at all with that hull color. Nice looking boat otherwise. Price is high. By consignment do you mean brokered? At least here, dealers do not take trades on brokered boats. |

How was it? All the good 278s I saw when I was looking to buy earlier this year are long gone. |

Whoever said boats weren't selling were either talking about crap-boxes or overpriced ones. Good, gently used boats are going fast... |

Looked OK, but really didn't get a real good feeling about it. Had the composite drive, that I have heard horror stories about. |

I am saying how/why can/would a dealer take in a trade on a boat they don't own? Makes no sense. |

I am saying how/why can/would a dealer take in a trade on a boat they don't own? Makes no sense. The ONLY way they would take it in, is if the seller actually wanted to trade for your boat. When we were looking to upgrade a couple of years ago, several brokered boats interested us, but no trade was possible, unless the owner of the boat happened to be looking to downsize to a boat like ours. At least that is the way it works around here. |
