Not when Grandpa's has what appears to be a new V358 for $10K less (even if pre-owned, it's the least expensive '08 V358 I've seen).
Unless I missed it, the V338 listing doesn't have engine hours indicated. I'd be curious about those before price comparing. And someone should jump on that V358.

I agree, V358 is a better price. Thanks for putting this one to bed.

Sure. And to further tuck it in, I see that Skipper Bud's has a new '08 V338 for $173,958.00.

Grandpa's clearly wants that V358 off their floor plan so I'm betting quite a deal could be had. Anyone looking at boats in this range should really consider it.

SB's has quite a few re-po's that they bought from dealers, and are selling at some pretty attractive prices (boats 30' and up). Nice boats for somebody that can afford one. They have several nice Formula PC's locally I pass by every day on the way home from work, as well as some 08' Sea Ray DB's.

The days of wanting a bigger boat are all over for me, no desire to own something that big and costly to run. But, I still like looking at them and seeing what people pay for such nice luxuries. Hopefully we can downsize sometime this year, if things work out.

I was really impressed by the variety of boats at SB's. I'm jealous that there's no dealer like that near me (or maybe that's a good thing). Good luck in your pursuits Cap'n 8)

I get weekly "special" e-mails from SB's , and they do have quite a selection to pick from.
I already have 3 or 4 boats picked out that we will be looking at when the time comes, no luck needed there, the luck I need will be in selling ours, and alot of luck will be needed for sure.

It has nice options... Nice bottom paint but they forgot to leave a gap around the outdrives. Now that's the second 338 I've seen with the UW lights to the outside of the drives. But this one and the other both had volvo's, so that may be why... Ditch the thruster and give me flexiteak and/or the transom rail any day.
