hey guys hoping someone on here can tell me how to winterize my ac on a 2005 268. I am thinking that if i pull the hose off the seacock and put in a bucket of pink i can run the ac until i see pink come out. But not sure if this would be ok, actually not sure where i should look for pink to come out. any help would be great. Everything else as been done to winterize just need to figure this out to complete my project.

AC was the easiest thing to winterize on my '04 268. I just cleaned out the strainer, and then took a funnel and some plastic tubing to the AC thruhull. All I did was start pouring pink in the system backwards. In less than 1/2 a gallon it spit it out the bottom of the boat.

fire where should it come out on the bottom? and i am guessing that the thru hull fitting should be right in the same location as the ac. by the way thanks for the help.

Either way described will work great. I have done both. If your cleaning strainer and your already there.......

Look for the pink to come out, either the intake grate or overboard discharge, depending on which way your pushing through the system. You have seen water come out the discharge (port side of boat) when using A/C, intake is right below the ball valve, look for a brass grate approx 2-3" in diameter.
