Hi there,

I don't know if any one can be of some assistance but I need some help valuing a boat. I am currently trying to settle my sister's estate. She owns a 2003 Four Winns 268 Vista. I have received an offer to sell it for $31,000 CDN. I'm trying to determine if this a good offer or not. I don't know much about boats and I don't want to get ripped off by the marina. Unfortunately the marina is aware that this boat is part of an estate and I don't necessarily want to carry it for much longer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
Catherine

I think that is a fair price up here in Ontario, if you want to sit on it you might be able to get 2000 more but that could take some time.

As a "reasonable guide", take a look at http://www.yacthworld.com and see what is out there.

I would say NONE of the asking prices for these 268 Vista's is even close to reasonable in US dollars.
